2 notes

This is a necklace that Sarah Bachman gave me almost five years ago. It originally came with some crystals meant for good luck in traveling. I wore to almost every trip I’ve made since receiving it and would add items found during these trips. I went through the contents tonight and realized that while these items were a great review of finds in the past years, I needed to put them in my keepsake box and move forward.

Then (clockwise):

1. crystals of vague identification; good luck to travelers.

2. thimbles from when I first started playing accordion and used the ‘grill’ side as a washboard (so punk rock)

3. a small flat stone shaped as egg that I found at a beach outside of Boston, late summer 2011

4. pressed fossil penny from the gainesville floriday museum of natural history

5. one of my favorite pins

6. One Ring to rule them all

Now, so far (clockwise):

1. crystals; I’ll always keep them in here.

2. a small glass pebble, a reminder for authenticity

3. stone Buddha figure
